President Elect Dennis Backer conducted the Board Meeting.  Only because this list was available to me and we all kind of like to see our name in print, Dennis Backer, John Coleman, Charlie Gibbs, Larry Goldsmith, Emmett Kesel, John Primm, Teri Tieman and Bill Brown attended the meeting.  As usual, much food and discussion ensued.

It was decided that the Shining Star Awards would be given out quarterly - the next time will be near the end of June.

Travis wasn't there but had sent out an e-mail to the list about his progress with the web site.

Charlie Gibbs is working a setting up a speaker's bureau.  Please see him if interested.

A big LA area meeting is under consideration.  Travis and Emmett are working on that.

A round of kudos was expressed for Robert doing a nice job with the nametags and cleanup at the last meeting.

A lot of discussion was devoted to the idea of another LookNext seminar.  Dennis Backer organized that successful event last October.  Doing another one would require another very capable volunteer to make it happen.  No one volunteered.

Some discussion was given to having another swap meet, aka garage sale.  Larry Goldsmith has now been permanently type cast for this event.

July 7th, which is a regularly scheduled Board Meeting, will also be the annual planning meeting, which was normally part of the annual party at Gary Stones.

Sunday July 18th is the annual party at the home of Whirly, the sacred party sig blender, and it's keeper Gary Stone.  More details to follow.
