The monthly Board Meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by President Dennis Backer.

Members present: Dennis Backer, John Coleman, Grace McKay, Emmett Kessel, Larry Goldsmith, Tina Wilson, Travis, Susan Wilcox, Robert Sheridan and John Primm.

The minutes of the October 6th meeting were reviewed and accepted.

Treasurer's Report - Beverly Turner: Emmett reported that $50 in guest fees were taken in at the last meeting and that $114 was spent on food.  $1000 of seed money went out for the Christmas party in conjunction with Ad Club.

Programming - John Coleman:  The board express their congrats to John for the great program in October.  The November 17th meting will feature Maria Piscopo, an author and marketing guru.  It was suggested that Maria might be willing to be a seminar participant shoud the chapter host another as the LookNext seminar.  John will be making an evaluation form for people to fill out after the general meetings to help in planning future programs.

Beverly Turner is coordinating the Holiday Party.  It will be just our group on December 7th.  The location is to be determined.

The January general meeting will be at PADI in Rancho Santa Margarita.

The Swap Meet is scheduled for November 21.  Larry Goldsmith reported that only a couple vendors had signed up so far.  He is going to call past vendors, or else Tin Wilson will call them if Larry can supply her with a list.  Susan Wilcox will be generating a flyer and getting the news out to the general public.

Registration - Robert Sheridan:  It was noted that asking members to keep their own badges and come back with them or turning them in at meetings is not working.  It was decided that paste on fill in your own name badges would be better.  They will be available for everyone.  Their will be two versions. (Guests and Members)  Emmett is to get a list of current members to Robert.

Membership - Emmett Kesel:  Will make sure there are membership forms available at the door of all general meetings.

PR - Susan Wilcox, Bill Ennis:  E-mails are now in HTML formats.  Notices are being sent to newspapers about the general meetings.  Grace is working on a template for all MCA-I E-mails.

Communications - Tine Wilson: Tina called 3 people who were guests at last month's meeting.

Speaker's Bureau/Campus Liaison - Charlie Gibbs: Dennis Backer to call and see how this plan is coming along.

Website - Grace McKay, Travis: Grace suggested that we get a listing in the Encore Directory.  Grace also reminded the board about the free banner ad placement for members available on the website.  It is free until January 31, 2005.  After that the cost will be $5.00 per 1000 impressions.

New Business:  Grace shared a networking website www.OClance.com with the group.  It contains listings of meeting in Orange County including the MCA-I.
