The September 7, 2005 Board Meeting Notes: The monthly Board Meeting was called to order at 7:13 by Vice President John Coleman. Members present: Emmett Kesel, Ellery Truesdell, John Coleman, Gary Stone, Travis, Grace McKay, and John Primm. Minutes Tina Wilson/John Primm: The minutes of the August meeting were not printed and handed out, but were posted on the web site. Treasurer's Report Emmett Kesel: About $800 was spent on the August Meeting. Profit was $200. Membership Emmett Kesel: 20 names from business cards collected at the August meeting were added to the e-mail list. Tina will write a letter to the new guests who attended the mixer. Grace will mail. Communications and PR - Susan Wilcox, Teri Tieman: Susan will be too busy to the Tuesday Blast until November. Gary Stone will take over until then. Website - Grace McKay, Travis: No news is good news, I guess. Programming - John Coleman: Home Movie Day had lots of guests some coming as far away as Santa Clarita. Flyers have been sent out about the Swap Meet. Emmett and Grace will do a write up on the web site. Travis and Ellery will help with the set up. Beverly will be bringing the $5,000 Giveaway ticket books to the September Meeting at the Tustin Air Station. That venue needs lights and generators. John will coordinate with Vern Vilene about that. Old Business: New Business: Ellery volunteered to be on the program committee for the Saddleback College Speaker Series with John Coleman. John asked for contact names anyone may have from Orange Coast College, Chapman and Cal State Fullerton. The next board meeting is to be a strategic planning meeting about our relationship with MAOC.
