Meeting opened at 7:05pm

The board accepted Patricia Shank’s resignation from board.   Short discussion on the on-going insurance question.  

Tina Wilson made a motion to allow John Coleman to bring five students to the mixer at The Waters which was approved. 

Wilson also noted the need to get minutes on the website. She also noted that Digital Expo West will be emailing us.  

The Christmas Party preference is for Dec. 5^th, with the 4^th and 3^rd as backup dates. Rick Sherman will check.  

Minutes approved.  

The MCAI-OC balanced is $2,373.77. $156.00 is still in a Pay Pal account and will be moved to the main account. We are still waiting on the national organization check.  

Discussion of Waters mixer, doorprizes and Ad Club cross promotion. Travis will put his promo video out.  

Wilson noted lining up a speaker for Oct. but needed a location. She also asked for help looking for future speakers.  

Discussion of Ad Club Media Show on Sept. 25^th and what to do. We are looking for people to go at a cost of $100 (booth) and ticket $25. 

Wilson suggested doing a follow-up after the mixer. She asked for help with membership and Gary Stone, Beverly Turner, and Erik Villesvik volunteered.  

Discussion of recruiting students and whether we really want to recruit them at all.  

Wilson noted her upcoming attendance at Pro Track in Milwaukee and asked for any questions to ask. Most were interested in the continuing insurance question.  

Travis will send out an email on the Ad Club booth thing.
