For those of you who were not able to make this year’s holiday party at the Village Inn on Balboa Island, you were missed, and you missed a great event. This is the time of year to celebrate, and that is exactly what we did. The food was great, the conversation was lively, and after the exchanging of gifts, it was hard to believe that the evening went by so quickly.     

As President of MCAI, on behalf of all of our members, I would like to wish all of you who are reading this, a happy and healthy holiday season. We all get stressed at this hectic time of year because it seems that there is so much to get done in such a short amount of time, but I hope that all of you will have the chance to just relax, laugh a lot,  and enjoy family and friends.

You have probably heard this saying before, and I don’t know who wrote it, but I wanted to share it with all of you at this time of year when we are counting our blessing. Also, it’s a great stress buster.

Yesterday is history.

Tomorrow is a mystery.

But today is a gift, and that is why we call it the present.
