The new Anaheim Film Festival and Media Arts Expo is now accepting entries for the fall event being held November 14-18, 2012. MCA-i is produc to be a community sponsor for thsi great new event.
The Anaheim Film Festival (AFF) is a competitive Festival. Winners are determined by a Film Jury and by Audience Choice. The festival is open to US and Foreign films in four categories: Narrative Features, Short Films, Documentaries and Animation. The Anaheim Film festival’s expansive film offerings include over 100 films from local, regional, national and international filmmaker participants who have come to our city to share with us their creative cinematic and innovative storytelling with our audiences.
Whether it be a narrative feature film from a local Anaheim filmmaker to a thought provoking, hard hitting documentary by a student filmmaker from China, German or Brazil, to a series of animated and live action short films from Japan, Norway and Mexico, to a retrospective of vintage Disney films and other archival classics to stimulating workshops and panels, to the glitz and glamour of the Awards Gala—The Anaheim Film Festival, from opening night to closing night is five days and nights of non stop celebration of the spectacular world of film.
For the second year, the Panasonic Solutions Company is making these iconic events possible. Starting on March 24th with the first event in San Diego, Panasonic is supporting media professionals with its involvement in MCA-I’s MediaProCamp. The popularity of the event has grown the series to a total of six this year.
Previously, Panasonic has given attendees sneak previews of new products such as the groundbreaking AG-3DP1, a 3D integrated twin-lens P2 HD shoulder-mount camcorder, and the Panasonic AG-AF100 featuring a large 4/3-inch, 16:9 MOS imager with an imaging area just slightly smaller than 35mm cinema film
